What we delivered

Advertise Me is a leading provider of interactive digital signage solutions, and we were excited to partner with the University of New South Wales (South Western Sydney Clinical School of Medicine) to implement our ePosters solution. Our goal was to create an engaging platform that enables students to showcase their scientific posters creatively and interactively. We supplied the university with our custom-built ePoster Interactive Digital Poster system, which featured interactive touchscreens on portable stands.

The experience was planned so delegates and organisers could manage research poster content in a cleaner digital format.

ePosters are especially useful for conferences and research events where attendees need to explore many poster presentations at their own pace.

The challenge

Conference poster areas can become crowded and difficult to navigate when content is only available in a traditional printed format.

The digital experience needed to help attendees find relevant content quickly while giving organisers a more modern way to present poster sessions.

The solution needed to suit the environment, be simple for people to understand, and give the client a practical way to manage information after the initial installation or launch.

Key requirements

  • Clarity: Information needed to be easy to read, understand, and act on.
  • Usability: The experience needed to feel straightforward for first time users.
  • Flexibility: The setup needed to support current requirements while allowing room for future updates.
  • Reliability: The solution needed to perform consistently in the live environment.
  • Content control: Poster content needed to be organised so attendees could find and open relevant presentations quickly.

Our approach

We focused on making poster discovery simple, with clear browsing paths and an experience suited to busy event environments.

The interface and content structure were shaped around the existing project requirements so the final experience felt purposeful and easy to follow.

How the experience worked

  1. Project context was reviewed: We considered the site, audience, content needs, and the role the solution needed to play.
  2. The experience was configured: Poster content, browsing flow, and access points were configured for the event.
  3. Users engaged with the solution: Delegates could browse and open poster content through the digital experience.
  4. The client retained control: Organisers had a clearer way to present poster content before, during, or after the event.
  5. The outcome was ready for everyday use: The final result supported clearer communication and a more professional experience.

From a user perspective, the experience needed to be clear, direct, and easy to trust.
