Digital Signage Fountain Street General Practice Medical Board Solution
As part of the redevelopment at Fountain Street General Practice, Advertise Me delivered a digital signage medical board solution designed to improve communication throughout the reception and waiting areas. The installation provides a clean and professional way to display doctor profiles, practice information, health messaging, and other important updates for patients while they wait. In a medical environment, clear communication matters, and this project was built to help the practice present useful information in a way that is easy to manage, easy to update, and easy for visitors to absorb.

The digital Medical Board screen was installed to complement the updated interior and to become part of the everyday patient experience rather than simply functioning as display panels on a wall. This allowed the practice to move beyond printed notices and static posters by introducing a dynamic communication system that can be refreshed whenever needed. Doctor information can be kept current, medical messages can be scheduled around seasonal priorities, and important notices can be shown in a format that feels modern, visible, and highly relevant to a busy practice environment.
A key part of this project was the use of the Advertise Me’s digital signage software platform at advertiseme.tv, which gives the practice manager full control over screen content without creating unnecessary complexity. Rather than relying on a technical workflow, the system was set up so content can be prepared using familiar design tools such as Canva and then uploaded quickly into the signage environment. This makes it practical for day to day use and gives the clinic the flexibility to update messaging whenever priorities change.
One of the most useful features for this installation is the Play By Folder function, which allows content to be managed through a simple drag and drop process. After creating slides, announcements, doctor profile graphics, or health information panels, the practice manager can upload files into a folder on the platform and the system automatically displays them on screen. This removes friction from the publishing process and makes it much easier to keep the displays active and current without needing specialist software skills or ongoing support for every update.

The value of this solution goes well beyond visual appeal. In reception areas, patients often spend several minutes waiting, which creates an opportunity to communicate meaningful information in a calm and structured way. The digital medical boards help the practice share doctor introductions, clinic services, public health reminders, and other reception messages that support both operations and patient awareness. Because the content can be updated quickly, the system also helps the practice respond to changing needs without the delays and clutter that often come with printed material.
From a portfolio perspective, this project reflects the strength of combining real world screen installations with easy to use software that supports non technical teams. The result at Fountain Street General Practice is a polished and practical signage solution that fits naturally into a healthcare setting while giving staff a simple way to manage what appears on screen. It is a good example of how digital signage can support communication, improve presentation, and reduce the effort required to keep important information visible across a medical centre.
This installation at Fountain Street General Practice shows how a well planned digital signage solution can become a valuable part of the patient journey while remaining straightforward for staff to operate. By combining professionally installed medical boards with the flexibility of the Advertise Me platform and the convenience of the Play By Folder feature, the practice now has a system that supports clear communication without adding unnecessary administration. It is a practical outcome for a modern medical centre and a strong example of how digital signage can deliver both presentation and everyday usability in one solution.
