Video Wall Solution
Advertise Me was engaged to upgrade and replace one of the main video wall solutions for the University of NSW Medicine & Health South West Sydney Precinct, delivering a refreshed display system that not only improved the visual presentation of the space but also restored reliability for a high visibility communication point used every day by staff, students, and visitors. As part of this project, the existing ageing 4 x 1 video wall was removed and replaced with a new commercial grade solution built around ultra thin bezel displays, creating a much more seamless and contemporary outcome that better suits a modern healthcare and education environment. You can read more about the benefits of upgrading digital signage solutions here: IS IT TIME TO UPGRADE YOUR DIGITAL SIGNAGE SOLUTION?
The new installation used 0.44mm even bezel commercial displays, which are among the thinnest video wall screens available in this class, allowing the final presentation to appear significantly more integrated and polished than the previous system. In practical terms, this means the gaps between each panel are reduced to a point where content feels far more unified across the full width of the wall, helping the display work as one visual surface rather than four separate screens placed next to each other. For a prominent internal communications screen, that difference has a major impact on how professional and readable the finished system appears.
The purpose of this video wall goes beyond visual impact. It serves as an important communication tool within the precinct, displaying navigational floorplans, directory information, and event listings for rooms and conference areas. In locations where visitors may be arriving for meetings, seminars, training sessions, or appointments, a clear digital directory helps reduce confusion and improves the overall experience from the moment they enter the building.
Unlike static signage, a digital video wall allows information to be updated automatically from Microsoft Graph API using our directory board system and the EMS system. This presented a much more dynamic and user friendly format. Floorplans can be adjusted, room allocations can be updated, and event schedules can be displayed in a way that feels timely and relevant. For organisations managing busy spaces with multiple functions, this flexibility is a major advantage. It means the display continues to add value well beyond the initial installation, becoming part of the day to day operational flow of the site.
For the UNSW Medicine & Health South West Sydney Precinct, having a reliable and polished digital display at this scale supports both functionality and presentation. It helps visitors orient themselves, supports staff communication, and reinforces a professional environment that reflects the institution’s commitment to quality infrastructure and user experience.
